Graffiti Hotel!?!

J’adore J’adore J’adore ! This room by graffiti artist Tilt for the Au Vieux Panier Hotel in France, a luxury hotel who asked 6 different artist to create a room, Tilt’s room is by far our favorite. We love the colours and how he has left half of the room white, almost like dead space. The finishing touch for us is how everything, including half of the bed, windows, curtains and chair have been covered in graffiti. Very cool….. Tilt do you want to graffiti my room????=D

Art or Fashion?

Couture fashion is the most expensive fashion in the fashion industry. Its a small select group that use the finest materials and skills, but with its flamboyant style, extreme price tags is Couture fashion better placed in the art world?

The designs are over the top but no-one can deny how beautiful and inspiring they are. Givenchy pushes the barriers of Haute Couture by designing body jewellery, that not only any rocker would be proud to wear, but is 100% stunning! We love the Givenchy collection especially. At the end of the day Couture fashion pieces are, in their own right, art, but they also have the place in fashion, firmly at the top. Its brings us joy just looking at beautiful pictures of it, imagine what we would be like if we could wear it!

This weeks must have……. Sequin Trousers!!!!!

Now sequin trousers might not spring straight to mind when deciding what to buy, but we adore them! They look great for a night out, down the pub, with killer heels and cute flats. The carrot shape style above is flattering for slim and curvy figures. Sequins go surprising well with a military style detailing, block colours and knitwear, we have layered knitwear to give a more edgy look. Don’t be afraid of sequins there fun and if your really daring go head to toe in sequins!

Marni for H&M Spring Summer 2012

The next guest designer to team up with H&M is Marni. Marni’s style focus, for women, on clashing prints, colour and pattern with a sleek and slightly sporty styling edge. All finished of with a splash of sparkle and plastic over-sized accessories. To wet your taste buds here’s some of our fav pieces from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Spring/Summer 2012 Marni Collection

Male Marni fans can also join in, although though the details are sketchier on what will be on offer, aside from print and “a relaxed take on masculine classics”.

Graffiti from around the world….

Whilst I was travelling I saw some amazing graffiti, I took photos of it just for me really but then though I was being greedy! So here’s a selection of the best Graffiti that I saw. Over the past few years Graffiti has started to be viewed more as art and started to get the recognition it deserves and I hope that it continues to do so.
